Off grid Living

Well Winter is finally here and lets just say I finished the Winter survival shack just in time. I started this little project about 3 months ago. I was only able to work on weekends so a fairly simple structure has taken more time than expected. There is no roadway up to the shack, an old logging skidway gets me near and then its all on foot… once the snow hits the area the Winter shack is only accessible my snowmobile or snowshoe. The nearest small town is 24 miles away.
