Floating Home
Jade and Tim decided to live on a float home because it was the perfect compromise between wanting to live close to nature and needing to live close to the city for work. Their home is a modern and minimalist black two-story home that sits on top of a floating foundation made with styrofoam encased in plywood. The home is 30′ long x 20′ wide, and the float is 40′ long x 20′ wide (the size of a standard float home slip).
