Endless Off-Grid Fuel on the Homestead – Biogas Part #1
We built a machine to make us endless off-grid fuel on the homestead. Also known as a bio-digester, “Big Murph” turns organic homestead waste into methane (natural gas). Consider this cycle: grass consumes CO2, the cow eats grass and turns it into cow pies, the digester turns cow pies into methane, we burn the methane to power our homestead and it turns back into CO2….which feeds the grass!
